Dr. Joel Miller

Dr. Miller graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. Continuing to expand his skills and dental knowledge by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education, he was awarded a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2003.  Less than 1% of all dentists in the United States have achieved this honor.

Dr. Miller received the Academy of General Dentistry Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award in July, 2009.  This award requires a total of 1700 hours of continuing education, examinations, and community service.  Five dentists in California, and One Hundred Twenty Three dentists in the United States have earned this award.

He is a preferred dentist of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).  Dr. Miller is certified for standard proficiency laser use.

Dr. Miller is active in other professional societies, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association,  San Fernando Valley Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, Sigma Xi The Scientific Research Society and is a member of the Peer Review Committee of the San Fernando Valley Dental Society.

Dr. Miller has been selected as for inclusion in  both The Guide to America's Top Dentists and The Best of the U.S.

Dr. Miller has lived in the Valencia area of Santa Clarita since 1993 with his two children, and enjoys the community and all that it has to offer. In his free time, he enjoys  spending time with his children, and driving his sportscar on the various tracks in Southern California.
