Invisalign®

Invisalign^® is a nearly invisible alternative to traditional metal braces. This treatment includes a series of clear, snap-on aligners that are custom designed to fit your teeth, slowly moving them into proper position. You will wear each aligner for about two weeks and can remove them to eat, brush and floss. No one will be able to tell you are wearing the aligners, and you can enjoy straighter teeth in a period comparable to traditional braces.

Custom-Designed Aligners

Each custom-fitted aligner will be designed with a special 3D computer mapping system. Rather than one pair of braces that are constantly adjusted, a series of aligners will be worn throughout the duration of your treatment. As your teeth move into correct alignment, you will replace each one with the next in the series. You will need to visit Dr. Joel Miller once every six weeks or so to make sure your treatment is progressing properly. When your teeth have reached their final position, you will probably wear a clear retainer to ensure your new smile stays in place.

Not for Everyone

Invisalign^® is an effective method for straightening your teeth inconspicuously and quickly. However, this treatment is not for everyone. Children should not use this treatment, because it is designed for mouths that have finished developing. If you have severe bite problems and must wear headgear, you should explore other options, because Invisalign^® is not compatible.
